Summary
A progressive and growing consulting company is in need of Human
Resources Manager to support the growth of the HR practice in
North/Latin America. The selected individual must be able to quickly
establish him/herself as a commercially-minded Business Partner for
local leadership and employees which comprises Consultants, Analysts,
Sales and Business Support staff.
If selected, you will join a HR team of five based in Houston and
the east coast
Main Responsibilities
Ensure new hire induction processes and development plans are defined
and executed
Translate Houston business strategy into achievable HR objectives
Execute regional recruitment plans in a timely and cost-effective
fashion
Support regional growth strategy, with particular emphasis on Latin
America
Manage compliance (payroll, benefits management, compliance) in line
with policy/regulation/best practice
Assist in maintaining a competitive position; take steps to understand
local market norms, dynamics and trends in compensation
Provide input to the development of regional benefits philosophy and
company practices
Update policies and procedures as appropriate in line with legislative
changes and/or best practice
Ensure that the local business infrastructure meets business objectives;
offer commercial advice and support change management programs as
appropriate
Assist in meeting Organizational Development activities in conjunction
with the Learning & Development team.
Consult with and support managers in applying performance management and
reviews to ensure managers are informed of employment law developments,
best practice and impacts of non-compliance
Drive forward the development of proactive programs in such areas as
Diversity/ Equality and Health Awareness as seen fit
Requirements
10+ years of experience
Willingness to Travel occasionally
Minimum Education - Bachelor's Degree (Master’s degree is a plus)
Business services experience preferred (Consulting, Recruiting or
Similar) experience
Knowledge of the upstream/downstream energy Industry very helpful |
